Founder of 7 STEM Labs, Suramrit Singh Kohli is an enthusiastic student of science and technology at the American School of Bombay, Mumbai. He has a strong academic interest in engineering, technology, and innovation, and through his coursework in higher level Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, he has grown to develop an interdisciplinary understanding of how technology could be used to address some of the real world challenges around us.Â
Suramrit has also been very actively involved in robotics and has been an active participant of events like the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and the World Robotics Olympiad since 2018. His expertise stretches from engineering design, team collaboration, and technical problem-solving; which made him firmly believe in the importance of hands-on learning in developing confidence in STEM. His commitment to expanding STEM education is reflected in the creation of 7 STEM Labs, through which he works to increase access to practical STEM learning, mentorship, and robotics education for students in underserved communities. He is particularly interested in creating sustainable learning ecosystems that empower young people to explore engineering, innovation, and technology regardless of their background.
